Itinerary

Day 01: Haridwar to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

Your sacred journey begins as our representative welcomes you at the airport, railway station, or your hotel. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive to Guptkashi, passing through lush valleys and alongside the serene Mandakini River at Tilwara. Upon arrival, visit the revered Ardh Narishwar Temple, a unique temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in a half-man, half-woman form. Check into your hotel, enjoy a warm meal, and rest for the night.

Overnight Stay: Guptkashi

After an early breakfast, set out for Kedarnath, one of the holiest shrines of Lord Shiva. You have two ways to reach the temple:

  • By Helicopter (at your own cost): We’ll drop you at the helipad (Phata, Guptkashi, or Sirsi), depending on your booked tickets. Helicopter rides offer breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas. Advance booking is recommended.
  • By Trek: We’ll drive you to Sonprayag, from where you’ll take a shared jeep (self-paid) to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, begin the 14 km trek to Kedarnath. Witness mesmerizing landscapes and spiritual vibes as you ascend towards the holy temple.

On arrival, seek the divine blessings at the Kedarnath Temple and visit Shankaracharya Samadhi before checking in at your hotel/ashram for a peaceful overnight stay.

Wake up to the crisp mountain air and explore the nearby spiritual sites at Kedarnath. After your morning rituals, begin your return journey to Guptkashi.

  • By Helicopter: Inform your driver about your return time and helipad location. We’ll pick you up and transfer you back to the hotel.
  • By Trek: Trek back to Gaurikund, take a local jeep to Sonprayag (self-paid), and meet our driver there. Ensure you have the driver’s contact for a smooth pickup.

Check-in at your Guptkashi hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner, resting after your soulful journey.

After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Badrinath, the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take a dip in the Tapt Kund (Hot Springs) before seeking divine blessings at the Badrinath Temple.

Explore nearby spiritual sites:

  • Mana Village – The last Indian village near the Tibet border.
  • Vyas Gufa – The legendary cave where Maharishi Vyasa composed the Mahabharata.
  • Charan Paduka – A rock with footprints believed to be of Lord Vishnu.
  • Brahma Kapal – A significant place for ancestral rituals and Pind Daan.
  • Saraswati River Origin & Bhim Pul – A historic stone bridge associated with the Pandavas.

Experience the evening Aarti at Badrinath, filling the air with devotion and peace.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Badrinath and drive towards Rudraprayag, with en-route visits to:

  • Vishnuprayag – The sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers.
  • Narsingh Temple (Joshimath) – Dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s Narasimha avatar.
  • Karnprayag & Nandprayag – Two more holy confluences of rivers in Uttarakhand.
